While email might initially seem faster, if you have numerous questions regarding the fine furniture, it is often faster and easier to address all your questions at once with a single phone call. Plus, we like to get to know you, and the telephone is a better way to do so.
Some of our better selling, smaller, hand-crafted pieces such as console tables and benches, we make in batches so these types of items are frequently in stock year round. Larger pieces such as beds and dining tables we usually only make upon request. If the item(s) you wish to purchase is not in stock when you call, Furniture by Design will create an order for you and put it into our production schedule. Depending on orders we already have and where we are with our production schedule, it usually takes between three weeks to six months to fill your order. When you place such an order, a deposit of 50% is requested. Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and personal check are all accepted.
Shipping is via UPS or FEDEX Ground for most of our smaller items. Common carrier freight lines are used for the larger pieces. In some cases personal delivery is also available.
